2007–08 · Career as Pro Boxer
My professional boxing career wasn't marked by major titles, but it took me far – both athletically and personally.
I boxed in Spain, Poland, and Austria, was in the USA twice, and once fought for the German Championship.
Boxing is a wonderful sport. But six training days per week with two sessions a day take their toll – physically and mentally. When everything revolves only around boxing, there's nothing else left. Broken hands, shoulder pain, and an overstretched elbow – that's how you enter the ring when you still need to put food on the table.
After losing the German Championship, I decided to take a new path. I ended boxing – but the passion for it remains to this day.
2011+ Programmer
It all started with an outdated HTML book, pen and paper.

Obstacle Races and Ultramarathons
After boxing, I needed another sport that I could immerse myself in.
Long and hard runs show me what I'm really made of. Many find it crazy to torture yourself for hours or days. But it shows me what's really inside me. I love pushing past limits and getting stronger with every run.
Once you've been a professional athlete, you generally like it a bit harder.
